Chapter 1 of Chapter 25: The Cobbler

Size and shapes of your footwear matters. Wear a wrong one and it'll make you feel uncomfortable or even cause pain. Some people wear it even when it's agonizing because their fear of having to walk bare foot far surpasses their pain. Then there are people who stop walking altogether because their foot hurts so much from walking in the wrong pair.

I've worn a couple of shoes and sandals. Every so often, I would wear one which won't fit me and at times, they just weren't meant to be worn anyone. At times it'd feel too overwhelming but then I'd always think about how it'd feel to wear one which would be so comforting, you could just keep walking. So I decided to walk bare foot and when you do so, you'd start walking over thorns, pebbles, mud and your heart aches for the lost footwear because even if they weren't your size, they still provided some form of comfort to you. What we as human beings do wrong is we lose hope and settle for less. Life isn't easy for anyone and the path one walks through is different and filled with different obstacles and all of us have varying foot sizes and walking pace so there's a pair of footwear for all of us and we don't know when we might find them.

We need to keep walking, at times it gets hard and you can take a break, relax and get back on your feet, once you can. You can even drop your pace, just don't stop. One day, you'll find the right pair, the right path and it'll make sense and feel worth all the trouble.

I've been walking for a while now and I was starting to feel tired, at times, I felt I didn't want to walk anymore but I kept walking without thinking anything and I thought I found the footwear I was looking for me but instead, I found why I've been walking.
