WOMEN

When you commute in a train, you never run out of stuff  to write 'bout. Well, this is based on such a conversation I overheard few days back.
So, I was on my way to college when some guys in there late 40s hopped in and from the looks of it, they all worked in some private firm. So, we all have been in a situation where a guy starts a conversation on worldly topics to look cool and stuff. This was no different.
Let's have a take at it:
Guy1: Man! We got lots of problems to deal with in India, women-harassment being the first.
Guy2: Well said my friend.
Guy1: We see women as an object who's strives under our authority. A thousand things runs through our                  mind when she chats with one of her male friends/colleague while we all know what we do once we              are out in the public.
Guy1: That's not entirely our fault, it's in our genes too. To hold male superiority. (I bet this guy failed his                bio classes)

Then they shifted the conversation flow towards another direction which I'll be discussing in the next post.

The really didn't have a single damn idea what they were foolishly pouting 'bout.

Women really have been going through a tough time since ancient times, its nothing new. The only thing that changed since then is that it's more revealed and transparent, yet nothing has changed.
The only place women empowerment is took a serious note upon is when you hear it one of those women empowerment assemblies.

Men call women the weaker sex.
On what basis?
Muscle power?
Brain power?
ON WHAT?!
Because the last time I checked, "I don't recall women falling behind in anything that men are capable of".
Fame, money, industry, sports, artists, you name it! You'll find women holding off their own!
Mahatma Gandhi? Check out Mother Teresa and Indira Gandhi.
Roger Federer? Check out Steffi Graff.
Tom Cruise? Google Marilyn Monroe.
Einstein? Marie Curie.
Mohammed Ali? Lucia Rijker.

The list's not gonna end anytime soon so let's sum it up to men=women.

India, a place where men think of women of as nothing more than an object that cooks, cleans and a children producing machine. Not all but the 3% basically doesn't count in a country whose population is close to 2300 million.

Most of the men and even "women" have this basic concept of how they can't survive on their own. I have never heard of anything more hilarious. So they accept their fate to being cook and cleaners who men own.

The reason this isn't changing is cuz of the feminists who don't know what exactly is feminism. They mistake feminism for man-hating. They're dead wrong. Feminism is all 'bout raising women to the same platform as men. This is what is to be done.

This isn't going to change anytime soon for sure but the initial has been taken, women are on the rise, so are the number of rape attempts, rapes, and assaults. This is backed up by the logic of them being thought of as objects and a weaker sex which doesn't even make any sense.

If reading this post changed at least a bit in you, you can start by treating your mother, sister and female colleagues better. If each and every single breathing entity does this, the world's already a better place. It's a as simple as that yet not that simple. Takes time, but if the effort is put in, everything will work out.

Click here and I'll make you RESPECT WOMEN.

This for all the women out there. WOMAN EMPOWERMENT.

Peace out.
